Ingredients


  1.  Oil: 3 Tbsp
  2.  Green Chillies: 3 to 4 freshly chopped
  3.  Cumin Seeds: 3 Tsp
  4.  Turmeric Powder: ½ Tsp
  5.  Red Chilli Powder: ½ Tsp
  6.  Salt: As per the requirement
  7.  Coriander Leaves: ¼ cup
  8.  Lemon Juice: 3 to 4 Tsp
  9.  Potatoes: 6 boiled medium-sized

Cooking Instructions


Cooking Potato

1. Wash the potatoes a couple of time cleanly.

2. In a pressure cooker, add enough water so that the potatoes sink. Add ½ teaspoon salt and cook in a medium flame until three whistles.

3. On the other side, you can also steam or boil the potatoes with ½ teaspoon salt in a pan. However, keep in mind that the potatoes should not crumble.

4. Now, take out the potato and start peeling the cover once it gets cold. Further, chop it into little cubes.

Preparing Jeera Aloo

1. Take a pan and heat 2 tbsp oil until it becomes hot.

2. Now, gently add 2 tsp cumin seed in the oil. Add three minced green chillies and mix it.

3. Add the potato cubes into the pan and mix it correctly with the green chillies and cumin seed mixture.

4. Scatter ½ tsp turmeric powder, salt and ½ tsp red chilli powder.

5. On a low flame, fry the potatoes for 2 to 3 minutes.

6. Now add ¼ cup of chopped coriander leaves with 3 tbsp of lemon juice.

7. Mix the preparation well and switch off the stove.

8. Now, enjoy your Jeera Aloo with your loved ones.
